Sue's Yoga Classes
Sue teaches a Hatha 1 Yoga classes through the University of Virginia Intramural Recreation Department. You can find the link by clicking here. Her classes are Tuesdays at 5:45-7 p.m. at North Grounds gym, near Darden School. After her yoga class, Sue also teaches a Meditation class which explores different meditation techniques, as well as delves into the chakra system.
Sue also is offering Hatha Yoga Classes at the School of Nursing on Mondays at 5 p.m. in the new Resiliency Room. This class is open to all. And soon a Friday mid-morning yoga class will be offered – stay tuned!
On Thursdays at 5:15 p.m., a Healing Circle and Sharing time will be offered at the School of Nursing, also open to all. For more info, contact Sue.
Sue’s Hatha classes emphasize body alignment and proper posture in the asanas. She combines holding poses with flow poses and ends each class with a deep savasina meditation. You can hear an example of her yoga nidra melt downs by clicking on this link.

Sue also holds a Multi-Level hatha class near Carter’s Bridge (south of Charlottesville) on Thursday mornings at 8:30-9:45. Please contact Sue for information.
