Building on the Mall 3 - Continuing on

We are now into May 2008 and they are putting some foundations in. They have begun to put down some kind of wooden supports or something while they dig a big underground area. I guess that will be for the basement? I dunno.

The noise levels are still low so I don’t even notice their progress. And the building site doesn’t look as dramatic as during its deconstruction, so I am not paying much attention to it. There is so much activity on the mall now that the weather is so glorious that I rarely look over to the site!

It is now August and they have been working hard. They have the second and third floors going up, although it’s difficult to see because the work is all behind the fronting.
